To misquote Archie Bunker, "And stupid is in the head of the viscount." I do understand why he would be upset as the only family member NOT in on the family secret, but that's no reason to boink the girl then abandon her for five years without a goodby or see ya, or anything. And the mighty aristocrat can't figure out why she was cold when he returned? Saying that it's because he's an "all about me" moron is putting it mildly. Saying that he has dreck between his ears is probably closer to the truth.
