ch 4 mehhh, not really interesting so far. their dynamics are boring and they had sex already in chapter 2. there wasn’t any tension leading up to that moment or anything, and the sex scene was boring altogether. probably not gonna finish
the mc is getting my nerves (yes i know he's broken heart, but all i see is only him being in denial. the ml is stupid for getting the order of courting someone he rejected first wrong, start with apologize, damn it! and stop with all sex thingy even if the mc ask for it! and the friend should move on and find someone else better than the shitty mc.
their relationship gave me such intense anxiety because the feeling of delusion when you're convinced someone likes you just based on their actions is so real and relatable. and then when the love and affection they gave you goes away when you confront them is so soul crushing it felt like i was feeling everything nan was feeling throughout it. the first half was immaculate, the tension was amazing the characters were complex in their own way and it was so moving i had visceral emotional reactions to it. but the second half took such a dark and confusing turn that it really confused me, i get these are twisted people trying to move on in their own twisted way but it also felt like the author giving into a whole different plot line. like this is not the yiyeon we knew in the first half, or nan, or even jae oh. it really seems like it was going no where in the recent chapters. the whole yiyeon turns dark phase was not something i particularly enjoyed. it was so sweet in the beginning and so fresh i couldnt help but feel like the second part was just this manhwa trying to fit into this new trend of "rape-y possessive evil dark semes" in modern manhwas. i feel rather ripped off that its nothing like it was in the beginning. it should have been a whole different plot to another manhwa. but ah well, when has a manhwa ever had a satisfying and consistent plot. i would so strongly recommend only reading the first half because the actions of the characters had be so tense and screaming at my screen it was really fun.
