Made me cry, too good.

shed a tear at the end...an uncomfortable exploration on human relationships and "love" tinged with melancholy, violence, and sex. mc and ml are both very flawed people, and their relationship is so unhealthy, yet the author manages to convince you to root for them to be together. makes you ask the same question as the mc: can this be considered love?

my favorite part of this manga are the character expressions. very subtle changes, but the author manages to set an unnerving, and at times even sweet tone through facial expressions.

At the end miki die. Tastumi living alone and imagining miki being beside him. And ryouma too weak so u stab miki!!! Yea go to prison !!

I almost thouht they would somehow get away with murder in chapter 4, but that was me thinking maybe. I mostly thought, what if they both just choose to go away together themselves from everything and live life together instead. That ending though, wtf man. I can’t believe it, such a tragedy. They finally went on a date and were somewhat happy and thinking about a somewhat future together, plus murder. Then out of nowhere, Ryouma stabs Miki. I was pissed after that and I knew he couldn’t be saved. But, I hoped he lived. The ending of chapter 4, lef tme with sadness and mystery. Miki still a mystery to me and his sister as well. So much left to figure out. In the end, I feel the most sad for Tatsumi losing Miki and his personality getting more twisted and hallucinating about Miki. I do hope he gets his revenge, i feel like he is just left waiting for it. But, at least he is still somehow connected to Miki, spending time with Miki’s sister and her son. Although, seems awkward. I hope he just does what he likes now.

This is my kind of yaoi— the angst, the intense sex, the psychological aspect, and a little bit of romance BUT not the tragic ending! I liked the story overall but the ending wasn’t properly wrapped up imo, the author could’ve provided more of Miki's background for the last chapter to actually make sense. I feel bad for Miki ofc, when he decided to turn over a new leaf with Tatsumi, it was already too late. I believed he had fallen in love with Tatsumi that’s why he suggested not pushing through the crime they’re planning. However, if what I think is true that Aiko wasn’t Miki’s sister and that child was actually their son, then it’s another story. If Tatsumi did go through with their plan to kill that thug and Aiko was really cheating with Miki and planned to elope, Tatsumi’s life would be ruined.

Which sadly happened to Ryouma. He had mentioned multiple times that he had a bad feeling for Miki. Even if we say, it was because of his own jealousy that he ended up in prison, it wouldn't have happened if he wasn’t entangled with Miki and Tatsumi’s messed-up situation. Tatsumi’s character was no better, he’s a terrible man. But tbh I didn’t know how I would feel about him, he was mostly evil but he showed his soft side later on. His encounter with Miki might’ve been a curse, he’s no longer sane and could still end up in prison if he ends up doing the crime even after Miki’s death. I’d also like to point out, their sexual relationship from the start couldn’t be considered bdsm, that was a half-assed attempt. That was purely sexual violence.

I had to rewrite my review THRICE because 1. I misunderstood the last chapter and 2. I’d like to share what I understand from rereading. This is one of my reviews that gave me anxiety because I hadn't poured over all the information I'd analyzed. I wonder why it's rated so low, it’s heart-wrenching and well written all in all that the ending had me thinking what the actual truth was.

This was... good? Lol I don't know how to explain my feelings about it. The ending was unexpected and left me with an empty feeling. I knew this story was going to be fucked up from the beginning but I didn't know that the ending would go in the direction it did. I think I liked it? Haha honestly I'll probably never read this again but I enjoyed the plot twist.
