Meh. I was really excited to read this because it reminded me of ouran highschool host club and Hakuouki Shinsengumi. But it was another weak and naive female lead who misunderstands situations. oh well

This was good. I think I saw the anime at some point in life. I came looking for some kind of end but... Well, it's OK. I liked it.

At the first half of the story it was actually ridiculous and the FL is so naive i almost drop it but after that it gradually improve.

Very good story

For her brother's sake Otowa, Subaru decides to take his place at an all male prestigious high school for a year until he recovers from being in the hospital. She gets to the school and runs into a few strange guys on her first day, but as soon as she tells them her name - they are surprised and make her go to the Lion Club. Hiding the fact that she's a girl will be difficult enough and now she has to deal with this strange group who are forcing her to join their club because they all believe that in their past lives they were members of the Shinsengumi!

Tbh, not really sire if i liked it

The ship that sailed at the end wasn’t satisfying at all. Hitomi and Shun had very little romance build-up in comparison to her with Oda. I’m genuinely confused, why did the author spend so much time on the romance build up between Hitomi and Oda just to make the other ship sail at the end? Could she have possibly changed her mind late in the story about which ship to make canon hmm.

Idk the chemistry between them was very sweet and definitely more present in the story. It would’ve also been kinda more acceptable seen as Hitomi and Shun were very close comrades in their past lives and had formed a brotherhood with their team. I rather find it weird for them to date now as male x female but that’s just against my personal preference. Would’ve been more acceptable to date a past life enemy seen as it’s not very uncommon for people to have a hate-mate relationship lol.

About the storyline, ngl it’s not really good lol. I’m also not a fan of whimpy female leads, would’ve liked to see some of her stronger suits.
