Comments of Strike The Blood

The mangá matches vol 1-3 and 6 of the novel, skipping 4 and 5 where a new girl is introduced (not that it matters that much as the novel currently has 22 volumes, lol). I’ve read 17 vol and I have to say, it can be annoying as hell: it seems the childish “no, sempai, it’s our fight” will remain to the end, and it kind of pulls you out of the immersion, but not just this, the MC is retarded (what they call “dense” to gloss over and make it acceptable) and irritating (easily forgiving heavy things, becoming enraged and screaming at the enemy like an idiot for stupid reasons). There’s other things that bother, like how not only he can never solve anything alone but knows nothing too, and until vol 14 or so shows negligible signals of growth, at last it seems from now on he will get actually strong (but for the looks of it will solve nothing alone until the end, to the point everyone seems stronger than him even though you know they aren’t). But well, i think it’s worth, lol.

To be fair, this is not the kind of story I like, so my three stars evaluation is very subjective. Nevertheless, the fact remains that the story is very much over the place with the background remaining pretty obscure most of the time. And the very fan servicey interactions with his harem are pretty childish kind of silly. The artwork is pretty good, although the fighting scenes are difficult to follow most of the time.

A little different than the anime bit I'm still loving ittt ×_×

I like the progress of the story but I not very satisfied with it's ending in novel.
