I liked it, but I can't believe how much subtle (and obvious) sexism, misogyny, and transphobia there was. Cross dressers aren't trans and vice versa. There was constant mention of "the murder wasn't a woman because no way a woman could pick up a man like that" or "it has to be a shemale (ew) because of the large feet size." Pretty gross and disappointing. (not to mention they had like 0 chemistry in the 1st volume)

vintage! fun, got all those vintage tropes you'd expect. it's really funny how in the first volume they don't actually solve any of the crimes, the criminals just go confess on their own lmao. I will say i now understand why everyone of the comments said this is incomplete, it REALLY feels like there's a chapter missing at the end there. for context the mc goes "mom I need to tell you something" (clearly going to come out as gay) and then thats the last page lmao. so it's kinda a natural end point but you'd expect a LITTLE more from them...
