I loved this fantasy adventure. The plot was branched a bit but it was not complex or difficult to follow. I enjoyed the narrative of an ancient civilization and their struggles to have an easy, comfortable life. On other hand, Yamato’s downfall is not explained clearly. We didn’t get to know about the characters background. Why is the Sensei a traitor ? What is the reason behind the brothers’s friction? Who is Hinata? In addition to many more questions. In spite of this, I didn’t think that it had any major effects on the storyline although it would add more depth to many sub plots? The group of characters worked very well together, taking into account their different personalities.
This can't really be considered yaoi or even shounen ai. I'm just a little disappointed because it has great potential to be something great, but it just ended way to early for any sort of character or plot development to occur.
