Ch 76 ten yrs passed and main and Dong got their own kids and were summoned by the emperor to come back with their original titles reinstated. Hwan got injured in helping them escape and so he's blind but he's happy to hear and feel them back

Ch 32 Hwan asked one of the other soldiers who trained with Dong and main and they were fearful to say but kept it secret bc of Dong, and told it to Hwan that they kept it secret bc it wouldve been traumatic to main and they were afraid of Dong who threatened them. Dong and his sister Hwasa are illegitimate children of the noble Hyel family, an ally of Shin. Hwan wonders if Dong knows mains identity, why did he help her, did he do it bc he wants revenge against the Hyel family who isolated Dong and Hwasa? Hwan informed emperor and emperor has a plan to test that
Ch 30 main lost her memories of entering the palace and Dong bc she was traumatized when someone sent assassins after her due to some other soldier disliked main getting the spotlight and hired ppl to harm her. She saw Dong get injured and she wanted to block those memories of innocents dying bc of her. She woke only with memories of the tiger and Dong became sad but kept a nice face for her, but was deeply affected as they were good friends
Ch 27 that's how main got into the palace, Dong was also a noble and learned of mains identity and suggested she hide as a soldier of the palace. He asked his friend Yul to forge paperwork and skip the physical exam.
Ch 24 so it was Dong who found main after she was unconsciousness after her fight with a tiger and he saved her
Ch 23 so main could only remember at age 10 surviving with the other orphans, one was the informant, who escaped the massacre and they fought a tiger but main doesnt remember anything after that, then she only recall just recently when she turned 15 she's already at the palace training. She has no idea how long she's been out of it and how she got there
Ch 18 main explained to Hwan why she came to the palace. It started 10 yrs ago about the orphans incident. Bc main escaped, Shin gathered all the orphans to kill them as he cant find her
Ch 13-14 informant warned Hwan to not harm main. Hwang read the report and main is Cho's daughter. He reported it to the emperor and main expected to be found out and reason she's at the palace that killed her father is to see if the current emperor is fit to rule bc a lot of corruption happened when previous emperor died. Emperor explained the story and he's been acting like a dope to avoid being suspicious in rebelling bc everyone in the palace r on the side of counselor Shin who assassinated the previous emperor and framed Cho
Ch 11-12 recap, emperor wanted main to find the missing girl and recommended going to a brothel to ask the ladies who r talented in poetry as the daughter was skilled in poetry. Main asked her friend and coworker Dong as he has been to one. He took her and met with Hwasa who recognized main as a woman but won't tell anyone. Main was still worried tho. Then main was drunk and picked up by the emperor's guard Hwan and he accidentally found out main is a woman and covered her up. He went to an underground informant clan for answers of who main is. But informant head recognized mains name and checked the records and thinks main is the one she's been looking for. She confirmed with Hwasa who confirmed main was dressed as a man. Informant is happy to find main, seems like they knew each other 10 yrs ago when they were kids. Apparently Hwasa and Dong are siblings, that's why Dong always goes to the brothel, to support his sister. They maybe know about main as they wanted to make sure she is safe, they know main doesnt recognize them but hopes to be there for her.
Ch 5 main shown her abilities and promoted to be the emperor's personal martial guard. The current emperor is trying to find the last surviving relative of advisor cho. Cho was seen as guilty for the assassination of the previous emperor but no other evidence other than the timing. Cho's family were also hunted except for the daughter. Main is cho's daughter hidden as a boy, but told emperor she won't kill the girl for political reasons. Emperor said he needs her alive. He's been playing the part of looking like a drunk partying emperor surrounded with good looking ppl.

Why do you have to make him blind in the end?? Just why?? It would have been a great webtoon if it weren't for that! :< Became a 2nd male lead and on top of that became blind without finding his own happiness!

more angsty that it seems! got me crying a bit, it's well written and the art is pretty. I really like how the story changes between been light and being serious. I thought that i was rooting for the 2nd ML but it turned out that he was the ML! The other guy is good too tho, and i also love him. The MC is great, she's strong and dependable. All characters are likeable. I can't pinpoint why is not 5 stars for me since it's objectively good, but I guess it's just bc of my personal taste.
