Beauful story, nice art. Some parts are annoyingly repeated (origin of gods), but the story evolves as the character do. Read 53 chapters and only 2 sex scenes (no sex depictions thou, it's a pity).
For centuries, the Clandor families have provided brides to the Khaol, The God of Pain. The Clandors have always bred beautiful females: they’re pale-skinned, golden haired, and mild-mannered. That is, until one day, Forrest Clandor refuses to be wedded and attend a typical high school house party instead. Fortunately, her twin brother River Clandor is up for the task. He pretends to be Forrest and step up to ‘marry’ Khaol. He doesn’t believe that the whole thing is real, until Khaol really does show up and accepts him as his groom. Can River handle being married to a mercurial, short-tempered God? And how did his family end up in this situation anyway? Also, why doesn’t Khaol seem to mind that he just married a guy?
What an amazing manhwa to read I really loved this from the beginning to the end Really like the character developments I wish the author will do this kind of masterpieces in the future
This was a beautiful story. This is some of the rare cases where the 2nd ml is the endgame and I love it so much. Heil is such a green flag that he was definitely the one i'm rooting for since the beginning. Khaol was such a bastard and i'm glad the author didn't force the romance between him and River since he's still and will always be in love with Kaveri. His redemption arc was beautiful though. I love this story so much many kudos to this.
Eu amo essa história justamente pelo plot de quem é o par ideal do protagonista. Genuinamente na hora me surpreendi muito e me apeguei completamente. Vou buscar pelas obras da autora porque eu amei, mais tarde vou reler também porque faz anos que eu li isso.
I read this somewhere else cuz I couldn’t deal with the broken pages. But it’s really good. The story is new and refreshing. Can’t get any better. I wish Hela wasn’t so lonely tho.
