A lot of people found the ending disappointing, I thought it made sense and fit.
This had me hooked completely J was so invested. Unfortunately, as many other ppl have noted, it seems the author was forced to end the story or else they missed with the pacing about halfway. They spent a good amount of time setting up the scenario in the first half-ish and the story was very intriguing, I do feel I understood everything that happened. Unfortunately certain things were not developed properly, like Sota's situation and return, Shiori's side and feelings, etc. It feels the author sort of lost track of the way they were developing the story after everyone woke up, and certain feelings and relationships weren't developed or foreshadowed properly for the final reveals to hit. Most notably, Sota and anyone in the rest of the family, particularly Shiori and Sota, as well as the father and the grandpa.
Plus a lot of loose ends and things that were major story-drivers earlier are kind of left to die, like the father's... affair? Idk what it was or why even the kid showed up later in Sota's made-up family, that whole situation felt weirdly rushed and written.
BUT IT STILL GETS 5 STARS CAUSE IT WAS SO FUN TO READ AND I LIKE THE EXPRESSIVENESS OF THE ART AND I'M WEAK FOR FAMILY FEELS
read bc of trash taste garnt and joey, garnt added it to his 3x3 for 2023. it was a hella nice read. fucking stressful tho, cried sm and theres a gym in less than an hr from now ffs.
reads like this isnt good for my anxiety. this is why i dont read these typa shit but git forced bc of trash taste lol, never again. good read tho. the ending was ok and everyone was saying the same. i think it was good, the family had a happy end still, if you call that a happy end. atleast theyre all together with a gc lol
I liked the ending but apparently that’s just me. This was a super interesting read! I was hooked with the initial concept and each twist and turn got better and better. I had a theory about this going in , I was trying to link them to one of the seven deadly sins each because of the title but that turned out to be irrelevant lol
I read this in one sitting and the number one takeaway is this is confusing as fuck but it all gets explained when you figure why the characters are the way they are. Also this cover looked like a cute manga lmao I was not expecting this at all
