Please read the books! Innkeeper Chronicles by Ilona andrews or the late Daniels series Or the hidden legacy novels! All are so good and full of strong and funny realistic female leads!!!!
One of the rarer times where the male character (Possible ML) is the annoying bastard I was quite excited for the innkeeper concept but this was a disappointing read. Every character feels incredibly superficial and 2D. It feels like the author didn't even bother to develop the worldline properly and is just coming up with new plot points as they go.
Bitch I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS SHIT!!!! OMFGGGG I USED TO READ THIS BOOK WAYY BACK! Omg omg omg omg i can't believe its getting a manga adaptation. I love Ilona Andrews. I remember going to her goodreads and reading the books she wrote coz i loved this series. I dont remember finishing it coz it was so long ago. Oh gosh i loved this so much. Also our MC is kinda OP a little because her inn is realy cool. She can practically travel to different universes with her inn. Its so cool
On the outside, Dina Demille is the epitome of normal. She runs a quaint Victorian Bed and Breakfast in a small Texas town with her seemingly harmless Shih Tzu named Beast. But Dina is...different. Her Inn can magically defy the laws of physics, her broom is a deadly weapon, and her little dog is far from harmless. Under the circumstances, "normal" is a bit of a stretch for Dina. And now, something with wicked claws and teeth has begun to hunt at night....Feeling responsible for her neighbors, Dina decides to get involved. Before long, she has to juggle dealing with the annoyingly attractive, ex-military, new neighbor, Sean Evans—an alpha-strain werewolf—and the equally arresting cosmic vampire soldier, Arland, while trying to keep her Inn and its guests safe. But the enemy she’s facing is unlike anything she’s ever encountered before. It’s smart, vicious, lethal… and putting herself between this creature and her neighbors might just cost her everything.
