????? fucking ass ending 1/10

After his sickly brother, Gaeul, mysteriously commits suicide, Haneul Kim transfers to Gaeul's school determined to find out what drove his older sibling to his death. His only clue is the journal Gaeul left on his phone, leading Haneul to join the same club that both Gaeul and his lover, Hayoon Lee, were members of. Could the Reading Club be the reason Gaeul died? And can Haneul uncover the club's secrets and find the answers he seeks without becoming a victim himself?

So, all the characters (for the most part) are shitty people whose motives make no sense. The ending is abrupt, disappointing, and depressing. Little to no romance whatsoever. Should be tagged as tragedy. Not a fun time and the mystery isn't intriguing enough to make it worth it. The MC needs therapy and to get away from his mom.

Originally,I saw all the comments and thought to myself ‘it can’t be that bad surely?’. And I’m not entirely wrong because the story was really good, with all the mystery and climbing action and the half romance subplot. But oh my god, that ending was a stab to my chest. It was the stupidest excuse for an ending anyone could give.

He leaves the school after finding out his brother forced a girl to commit suicide? Come on. Firstly, that girl was such a random addition mentioned in maybe the last 5 chapters and second, it was such an anticlimactic ending for such a good story. I would’ve wanted mc to confront Hayoon and for Seojun to communicate his true feelings towards mc but NOO what happened was, miscommunication, mc being depressed and the bad guys winning. I get that it’s realistic (not really) but like seriously? I don’t think mc is the type of person to just sit there and accept what happened, COME ON!!So much wasted potential the ending is just beyond horrible, the author really did not care about this story. I would’ve rated this story maybe 4 stars, but the ending was just so disappointing I can’t rate it higher than 2 stars

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks this was wasted potential Stupid ending, stupid characters, no character or relationship development, the "reveal" was literally the most obvious answer and the ending is so unsatisfying and rushed. Also, reading this was fuckin awkward bro. The suspense is so poorly done man Literally just multiple panels of the character's eyes back to back....

I had my hopes but the whole big mystery was so damn underwhelming and stupid. The characters where bland as hell and annoying asl. I guess this was supposed to be a mystery but the "reveal" is literally just the most obvious answer and the ending is so rushed and stupid. Why is this even a BL? The mc and other dude had 0 chemistry and weren't even a real couple let alone did anything that would hint at it. Leave the fact out that the ML liked the MC and it would change nothing for the story. The MC is freaking weird in general. Sometimes he acts innocent and sometimes he acts like a fuckin pyschopath, it's so inconsistent. Some characters were just completely forgotten about as well, and there was almost 0 character development Hayoon didn't feel threatening at all, but just like a sour little child. Spoiler: was so obvious that the dairy was gonna be a trap and the ending is basically just the mc being oblivious about everything that happened and running away......

Ending rushed and unsatisfying.

After the mysterious suicide of his older sickly brother Gaeul, who was living in the school dorm...Kim Haneul transferred school in the mid semester to his brother's school & even started living in the same dorm.. decides to enter the Reading Club to uncover the secrets behind his brother's death....?Thus begins his quest for unrevealing the mystery behind's his brother's death ...?A place where he has no friends..? only enemies..?/ And it all comes down to hunt or to be hunted..??

This had SO much potentional but unfortunately had a very underwhelming ending with many questions left unanswered. This has been one of the most unsatisfying reads ever, which is a shame as the plot had me hooked. With the possibility for a revenge comeback you’re left with disappointment. Although the plot line is interesting it’s very messy mostly leaving you confused with what is actually happening, it’s also quite repetitive. As I was ready I got bored of a chapter so I scrolled and clicked a random chapter to continue the story when it felt like I was reading the same thing in a different font. This will bore you just as much as it will excite you. The art style was cool and the characters were quite interesting.

Not a spoiler but you should prepare yourself for the rush ending. However, the rest of the story was well made, in depth, multi pov, and depicts the layers of human mind pretty well. The details are amazing which makes the slow paced story worthy to read. I am curious why the artist wanted to end the story this way.

The only thing that made not to give a complete 10 is the art , it's really bad but i absloutly adore the story

I could take the slowburn but the way it ended sucks. Most of the characters look the same, suspense is poorly built. Could have done so much potential with the interesting storyline but it's just not it for me. Made me confused till the end.
