Mc becomes the hand maid of a cross dressing man.

Mc is the daughter of a framed criminal. Her dad was silenced for doing what he thought was right, protecting framed innocents. He was killed off for that. Mc wanted to regain her fathers honor by becoming a beurocrat but as a woman she wasn’t allowed to. Instead she entered the palace as the servant of the crown princess who acts benevolent but is actuallly evil. She gets rid of anyone in her was and her family killed many. They were the ones who got rid of mc dad when he refused to kill the family they tried to frame for killing the empress. Mc values truth but it’s hard in the inner palace. Mc was sent to serve the witch who is the priestess and was instated as a princess. Mc finds out that the witch is actually a cross dressing guy who plays tricks to keep people from finding his identity. His first prank was pretending he was dead. When he was young, his father did something bad so his mother made him pretend to be a slave while the rest of the family died so he could survive. His hair turned from blue to white. He saw mc for 1 night coincidentally (they didn’t know) and was told to escape. He was picked up by a gang of bandits and did that gig for a while. There’s suspicions that he killed mc father. He was later picked up by the priestess and became her body double. When the empresses family attacked, he switched places with the priestess thinking she could escape as a handmaiden but instead she was stabbed and he was taken as the princess. Mc is pretty loyal. She’s like a puppy. Together they find the mystery behind 2 of the princesses and their little opposite game which revealed the culprit behind the death of one of them. The crown princess is jealous because the crown prince was in love with the priestess and not her. Mc is almost killed. Another maid that used to bully mc was killed.
