[Spoiler]... The way he tries to cheer up the lonely bewailing bird and saves her life, he must be a very nice guy. From his weak condition, he must get the plague and about to die. Moreover, he was alone because he killed someone. So I'm pretty sure he did a mercy killing his partner!! (ಥ_ಥ)
