Story so good i forgot to read hentaiand ended up with chips on my hands

So I really really like Mayu but... Them falling in love didn't do it for me. Something felt lackning. Their love story was surface level only. MC didn't even know anything about ML except his name and that he's a high schooler when ML confessed to him. Then suddenly they don't even see each other for months... And MC's supposed to get over that old love that has so much more history and figure out he's in love with ML after months of not meeting? Just so ML can be old enough for the yaoi part of the story.
And the best friend took such a big part of the story, with his constant appearance.
I felt the most emotion from the scene where his best friend got excited hearing that MC likes him and was willing to try working something out together. He looked so hurt when MC rejected the kiss. I kept thinking of what they could've been throughout the whole story!! Author why did you make the best friend such a loveable character...
I wish the parts with the furniture picking could've been reduced and instead be fluffy moments with MC and ML getting to know each other better and fall in love. Mayu deserves more story time!!

I just hated the ch.8, side story 2, cause i hate it when they excuse their violence in bed everytime they're jealous, like no even if ur jealous please still be a decent human being! Forced himself even if uke is still drunk and asleep, although uke took it well, it's still just annoying
