Ngl, MC’s personality is a bit weird. I find the story too cliche at times as well. Though the concept is nice. In chaps 30+ though, it’s a bit weird, MMC just disappears then reappears

Oof, the setup to this story is so rough. I only managed to read the first 2 chapters, before deciding this isn't for me.
A gaming company employee responsible for troubleshooting enters a of notoriously buggy VR game to do her job. Something goes wrong and MC is trapped in the game living as her character for 24 hours (2 years in game), only to suddenly remember she wasn't the character who she was playing as and was supposed to be doing her job. MC is unable to log out, getting an error message, she then tries to seek help from other game company staff through an in game channel. She is successful in making contact, but not in immediately getting out, apparently it'll take 48 hours (4 years in game).
So... immediately when MC is able to make contact with other game administrators this falls apart. MC says she's stuck in game for 24 hours, so admin decides they'll send people to her house to get her VR head set off. MC isn't there or at her place of work. Apparently the law doesn't allow anyone outside of direct family to report someone as missing, so no filing missing person's cause MC apparently lives alone and has no family. I find this law difficult to believe, but whatever, ok, I'll suspend my disbelief. They then tell MC it'll take another 48 hours to get her out. She rightly freaks out, and they tell her "Oh don't worry you won't die of starvation in 3 days, you'll be ok." To which I think, it only takes 2 days without water to die. She's in real danger of dying or at least needing urgent medical care if she doesn't already. Also the fact even one person is unable to log out due to some error would have the gaming devs *panicking* because there's a high chance it could have happened to others, such as the fucking players! Which would make it actually dangerous, and the company directly liable for trapping people in the game *for years*. Apparently a day in the real world will feel like 2 actual years in game. So yeah, it's very bad. People could go to jail for this, or at least be sued within an inch of their lives.
Instead MC gets into some group chat with the devs who are just totally dismissive of MC's plight, making fun of her, and just expecting her to be calm and respectful when she's in real danger of dying. So.. I was unable to suspend my disbelief for this story. It really doesn't work for me. Also i find it difficult to believe the devs wouldn't immediately know where she is based on her connection to the gaming server. The people who made and designed the game, have access to the servers and the player info and MC's account, they should be able to find her real world body easily. >_> It should not take days, but hours at most.
I think the set up should have been the dev people looking into MC and then thinking she isn't real or some sort of prank because they can't find her login info or something. Have that immediately established rather then people callously making fun of MC for not knowing she can't log out by killing her character.
Lastly, why would beating the game magically fix this log out error? Why would it automatically log her out, when attempting to exit the game doesn't work? I mean I suppose it could be a thing to try, but why even suggest that when the game is buggy crap that doesn't work properly and no-one has even beaten it yet?? They should be working to fix the error. Or they could just temporarily shut the servers down. That would be a much quicker way to log this person out then asking her to beat their shitty game. Just make it make sense!
