I liked it. Two boys lose their parents and decided to depend on each other. Steve becomes a brilliant and very wealthy man and Moridono was security for him but mainly a bodyguard. You one day Moridono breaks his promise to always be there for Steve so Steve tracks him to Japan to find out why. In the midst of all this Steve has received death threats and attempts which causes another mystery but also solves who killed their parents.
Steve Nohgue is famously known within the elite business world for his looks and shrewd mind. Steve has always been used to having everything he wants, including his assistant, Moridono, who has pledged his loyalty to protect and to serve him. Until one day Moridono announced that he no longer wants to be by his side… Why did Moridono abruptly leave his side? Will Steve ever be successful in love as he is in business?!
A flashy and conceited young CEO is thrown off-balance when he returns to Japan for business and re-encounters his former best friend, who had abandoned him years ago after swearing to protect him. This is a by-the-numbers melodrama mixed with a predictable corporate intrigue plot. Definitely a story that has been done before; there is a whole host of CEO/bodyguard/underling stories in the genre that are more interesting. You could do worse, but you could definitely do better; recommended if you want a standard story with good pacing but not much else going for it.
Minimal warnings for this one: there is some kissing after a character says "stop," but things don't progress much further beyond that.
