This was such a good read wtf the art was amazing the story line got me sad asf and the pain they both went through for eachother and they never hated and only loved eachother is so amazing it makes me SADHAPPY happily sad AHHAHAH they deserve so much

The art is very impressive and I love the characters. They feel human and make mistakes without being evil. I like their growth, learning how to love without fear.

A timid student without any friends (uke) grows close with a promising football player from his school (seme) and they start to fall in love. But after the seme gets injured bc of the uke their relationship becomes complicated. Years later the uke still can't overcome his guilt.

Met at school when the soccer ball shattered the window where the MC was in. MC was holding his gramp's camera that time and it fell during the commotion (cries in leica)

They got close and got to making out one rainy afternoon. A bitch took photo and posted it online, and rumors spread. Homophobes, including some teachers unfortunately, reprimanded their actions. Discounting the malicious intent of the poster while at it.

ML tried to protect the MC by denying their relationship. MC, traumatized by his mother leaving her, was so afraid of the rejection that he ran away -- an accident happened, injuring ML when he saved the MC. Which closed ML's potential in going pro on soccer.

MC bid farewell but ML said MC has to take responsibility. As atonement (and bc thats what he really wanted), MC stayed with the ML. Drama ensued w sex on the side. But they got there in the end

couldn't really immerse myself in this story... it might bc of the art, it feels cluttered. the author should blur out the background or put less, or but put more emphasis on shading and atmosphere work so it's easier to focus on the characters and their emotions. also, not sure why this is worthy to be cried over. sure, the situation is one of the worst to be in for partners, but it's not like the ml becomes resentful and cold towards mc, so whats to cry about? also, i think the author should've made it clear if the girl was the ml's gf or not, cuz i thought it was implied, since mc didn't even bring it up for ml deny it, so i was annoyed that the translator was like "she daydreaming, she a bitch" like what, is she supposed to give them her blessings? isnt it natural to take revenge? other readers just naturally assumed the girl was not his gf so they can curse her out without hesitation, but what if she was? then the author's just villainizing her. i might have given this work another star if this included the girl's comeuppance and perhaps, guilt over the accident she indirectly caused, and then have them meet up again for her to properly express her remorse - like make her more than just a plot contrivance, make her a realistic character like the main leads too.

Reaction (might contain spoiler!) : I love how the teacher talk to Ryou and make him think of Youhei's situation before going out. One's relationship really need to be discussed properly before going to public about it because we never know how this will affect the other. I wished they talked about their feelings sooner so they both didn't have to suffer during those year of injury and taking care of. I understand though, it's really hard to communicate things you're not sure what the outcome is.
