Ok. So the MC's attitude is very stern. I don't like it personally. At times he acts mature but in reality he still got a lot to learn. As he knew that he shouldn't let his aggressive emotions get in the way of his decision-making. Pretty much common sense from a person who studied abroad. Next is weak plot. Like damn, I got so bored of the text and the characters are just plain...flat. Like no build up at all. Good example is the butler. The hell is he doing? Even reprimanded a lot of times he refused to cooperate.

Why shoujo though

Probably unpopular opinion: That new butler(Kisaragi) is a fucking piece of shit. I’m sorry but if you go into someone’s house as a new hire and only talk shit about your employer that you’ve just met and then have the audacity to insult them to their face in their house YOU CAN FUCK OFF. Like I get not wanting to be compared to someone else but the way you appeared was out of the blue and you can’t expect someone to respect you off the get go. I’d have fired that son of a bitch idc if the old butler came and cleared shit up that doesn’t excuse the garbage the new butler did
