Beautiful and peaceful scenery all over the manga, interesting characters and relationship between them. Interesting story But the author did not went all the way with the past of the mythology and of the island. May be rushed... Still. reredeable story 3/5
Generally a very nice story. I have some objections, but they are mostly because of my personal preferences. One of them the story being a harem. Well, in fact it's one of the best harem ideas I came across. In the context of the story it's totally reasonable and the guy is apparently a really lovable person. I still don't think all the girls would be as happy with this situation as they are portrayed, but then again, personal preferences. BTW, it's the second harem by Fumizuki Kou which isn't totally bad, the other being “Ai Yori Aoshi”. What really makes this work stand above the rest is the take on the island world. I truly love the way how the environment of the island is described along with the people living on it and their feelings. One can practically feel the warmth of the air, hear the splashing of the waves, and enjoy the laid back attitude of the life there. It reminds me a lot of the feelings I had with “Barakamon”. I also like the erotic parts. They are in my opinion very sensitive and sometimes even beautiful. I love how the feelings of all the protagonists come over. The biggest setback for me is the resolution of the main plot. I simply don't get it. It's in a strange contrast to the rest. Even to the last after action chapters. I don't know. Perhaps one has to be Japanese to understand what's really going on. But until then everything was going in a slow pace and everything was clear and understandable. And then: BOOM! What happens? Fortunately the wrap-up chapters smooth the feeling a bit despite not really explaining what happened.
Good manga....charming ,sweet. .with a touch of dark drama...but the ending is just plain. ..and is because of the sep up of anticlimactic elements. ...for an. Open ending. .. SUCKS. ..uh?
