It's funny how people hate Ninomiya because he is not attracted to chubby people and forced his lover Kaoru to change when he turned chubby. It's not like Ninomiya can change his sexual preferences lol. And I don't think he lied when he said that he loves Kaoru no matter what. He could have just dumped chubby Kaoru, if he really did not love him...which actually happens, everyday, in real life lol. Don't hate people because of their sexual preferences. Ninomiya prefers slender people and that's ok. There are many out there with a preference for chubby people and that's ok too. If a chubby-lover tried to return his lover back to required levels of chubbiness, is it wrong? Skinny-shaming is as bad as fat-shaming. Of course I am not condoning beating, starving and keeping him locked up... the methods he used was probably for comedic purposes, which actually did not make me laugh one bit...but that's for another debate lol.
Story with the neurosurgeon was sweet but not realistic. I wish it was that easy to cure cancer patients. It's more of a fairytale in a modern setting maybe. Still a good read, no doubt about that :)
