It's very interesting story i thought there are 2 vol gonna take long to read but as I read it i realised how craftsman life works as a person who is into history most it's gives me great experience even though its based on around 500 BC of Japan i love how it's not only based on love story it's a like journey of uke from being sold to become better craftsman as seme after become his aquitance when empress said onli uke will go baekju i felt bad i m like man how many years this seme has to wait for uke he is already old just spend your days together till u can but they got permission to go together nice story but only disappointment this manga gave me was that it endd rushly i was waiting for full on backstory of seme of how much popular or arrogant people think he was when he was young but still it was beautiful read!

During the Asuka period (538-710), Tasuna was sold by his stepfather to a local rich man. Fleeing from such a fate, Tasuna went to the mountain in search of Azeri, the master goldsmith who used to practice the craft in the Capital with his late father. When Tasuna collapsed from exhaustion, he was rescued by a man who seemed unfeeling—!?

I really liked it. Tasuna's stepfather sales him to a rich man and it takes him 3 days to escape. When he does he goes looking for a friend a his late father, Azeri. When he finally finds him he begs him to let him stay even offering his body but Azeri is a good man and turns him down. Azeri also realizes all the pain he must be in and let's him stay. After being together for 3 years Azeri decides it's finally time to send him to his village to learn more. Tasuna confronts him and they confess their love but he still goes off to study.

Another three years pass and Tasuna catches the eye of the Prince who kisses him. Tasuna offends him and gets dragged into a competition where he could possibly be killed if he doesn't win. He also learns more about Azeri injury and the man who caused it. Eventually the same man has Tasuna kidnapped, almost raped, and left for dead but he had found and makes it to the competition were he wins. Now both Azeri and Tasuna can go back to Azeri and his dad's s home country.

Brilliant ..... I Love to read BL Historical fictions n this one is definitely quite informative n have an interesting plot, characters ..... More over kudos to author n others for making an effort to extend it but still i want to know their journey to baekji ..... Love both seme n uke they both r beautiful n skilled n they ending up together n going to their homeland was quite lovely thing

Disapointment

I'm sad it wasn't longer. but you guys, this manga makes me want to make a favorites list, so here goes! this was incredibly wonderful; a guy who gets traded for sex escapes only to collapse; another man finds him and cares for him; thus is the beginning of one of my favorite love stories. there was nothing incredibly remarkable about this story, but their love and dedication to each other made me cry and wish i had something like that.
