I knew the author is trying to copy Junji Ito's style at the cover page, and that's the reason i try to read this. The author should find their own style especially how they draw the faces.. they try to copy junji ito so much that the they don't even has their own style.. the faces especially Zach's, is different in every panel LOL. Its funny that the author even copied some scenes (i can remember some from junji Ito's comic) and put it here..
Honestly, it's boring. Adding the style looks similar to the famous manga artist Junji Ito. But, the information it gives about the surroundings is nice and.. It feels too stereotypical. "I live in a small town and most builds are _____ (haunted or not in use). Little population. Rumors. etc etc." Heard it all before.
