I read this a while back and the chapter of the girl getting married always stuck with me, it wa so well written

Trigger warning for this manhua: it’s got some seriously homophobic scenes in it. The author isn’t openly promoting homophobia, it’s meant to just be a conversation of how it is, and includes lots of open communication between queer and straight people, which is really great and important to read. But man, as a queer person, some of the scenes and dialogues made me feel seriously ill. I’ve never read a queer comic that actually sent me back to the exact feeling of internalised homophobia from my childhood! It’s impressive, but seriously deserving of a trigger warning.

The homophobia at first did make me upset but it was also stupid because of how straight people make the most abnormal statements against gay people or any sexuality that isn’t theirs. This showed how most straight people usually think, and the character development was amazing. It was also very funny and the art is so so so very cute ^^

great story about understanding and coming to love people of the lgbt and non-lgbt community. Ultimately it’s about friendship. the story gives us the lens of a homophobic narrator and society, giving voice to the ridiculous fears some people have when first meeting someone gay. The first few chapters were hard but you really see how far someone can come and the ridiculousness of homophobic people’s fears.
