The gods sent a race of super-powered beings known as "spes" to aid humanity and bring hope to the world; but when people begin to abuse spes and their powers, the beings once believed to be saviors soon come to be feared and loathed, seen as a problem for society. Many are abandoned, as fast-food worker Ryu Shin learns when he encounters a homeless spes child stealing a cheeseburger. His hatred of the species is overcome by compassion when he learns the helpless boy seems to have no powers at all to defend himself with. Shin takes him home and begins caring for him, naming him "Cheese" and telling him that he doesn't need to be anything but an ordinary kid. When Cheese learns that his new companion is being victimized by a spes, however, he is determined to grow stronger so he can protect Shin.
This was the most unsatisfactory read ever, there were so many plotholes. First of all 46+ chapters was of the child cheese, that I thought was eventually going to grow up. And then comes the adult s rank spes choose who is later revealed to be cheese all along, he's much more mature than the child cheese. And at the end they merged together but somehow the now cheese has the personality of the child cheese. Heck let's fcking mention grown ass men kissing the the cheese who wasn't emotionally developed to understand wtf it was. The cheese that was residing in the child cheese conflicts sm with who cheese is, fuck idek what the hell was going on. I thought maybe we'd get romantic development after the child was grown, but nahh. I regret reading this
This is actually good I just love how realistic this manhwa portrays the different nature of human beings and the downside of the society waiting for more chapters
Does anyone else feel really weird abt the two person-one body thing? Like I know they're two different people and at the end of the day they aren't aged the same but like- it just feels really weird honestly.. like the !!SPOILERS!! . . . . . . . . Kissing scene between them. I don't know how to feel about that cause the guy in the dream seems to be gathering feelings rather quickly and with that intention it's okay but it's the fact that he kissed him with that feeling in Cheeses child body that doesn't sit right with me It just feels weird and in my head it doesn't sit quite well.. I don't know, maybe I'm just being really sensitive about the story and small details but it just doesn't feel right and it honestly makes me cringe so much when he speaks (the dream guy) and reacts to that of an adult with feelings towards shin inside a CHILDS body '0 0)..
