One needs to ignore the breeding thing to enjoy
It’s absolutely male centric, women should be breeding tools in the backyards. As if to demonstrate, there’s a near absence of female characters across the pages ! Despite being super numerous in multiple harems of each male descendant (strong polygyny system). you can nearly only see males (?)
Otherwise, it’s fast paced and slightly different as the ancestors has no ambition to conquer the world, but instead wants to be low key to protect and expand his family
It’s entertaining, albeit the incongruity of the reproductive obsession
