I loved the prequel to this but this one was somewhat disappointing. The dad...what's up with him? He is in a gay relationship and is against this own son becoming one? On the pretext that it is a difficult path! Who are you kidding? All paths in life are difficult, you stupid dad. You think heterosexual love is not difficult also? or lesbian love? or even parental love? Everyone goes through pain in their life and how one tolerate or bear the pain is purely subjective. Trying to compare one's pain with someone else's is an exercise in futility. If you think of the dad's behaviour, that's what he is doing; comparing his past pain with his son's and making decisions based on those feelings. It's sad when people think like that. His son acting spoiled is more excusable than the dad acting immature.

like two and half stars. i like it and i don't- sou is a spoiled brat and isn't very kind to keigo and mamoru is kind of a hothead and treated hiroki really poorly in the past. on the other hand, it was nice to see the family dynamic at play, which doesn't happen a lot in yaoi- it's usually about couples hiding their relationship- and the son more or less accepting his two dads instead of just the usual drama stemming from having or being a gay dad was nice. art is alright.

Sequel Itaike na bokura

I'm sorry, but Hiroki should've left his ass when he had the chance. He kept cheating on him and finally had a baby and STILL wanted to be forgiven. Fuck that. If I was Hiroki I would've have left like "Boi bye" The dad is a selfish fuck boi.
