ive read this a long time ago and i remembered how much i loved it and even reread it a few times so i was shocked at the rating of this manga but well considering the ending i guess i understand :/

i really did enjoy this manga,,, just like many people, to me the ending was wishy-washy :(( ,, tbh i feel like throwing in all the harem made the story turn out to be a drag & came with stereotypical shoujo cliches. kinda wish that we knew more about the main female character and it was less about all the harem and typical shoujo drama shit

It was a really cute and funny manga! One of my absolute favorites! It made me really laugh and I had a geat time reading...it even made cry. With that being said...god fucking dammit what kind of shit ending was that!

This is a hidden gem of a Manga..hope they will do an anime of it soon

I couldn't stop laughing!! It's a very long read, the romance isn't really romance, and the ending was abrupt and sucked.

Im so upset this is over im so emotionally attached to this i really hope the author does something about that ending because why. Why after spending so much time on that to just go back and shit on it. I dont think anything could compare to the amazing time i had reading this manga. Thank you

It hurts and its funny

So, after I let some time pass and re-read Yamada-kun a few times, I gave Yankee-kun another chance. (See my original, one-star comment at the end.)
And I'm glad, I did. This manga has several major issues, but ultimately is worth reading for everyone who likes coming of age stories.
The primary major issues are the really aggravating first chapters and the strange ending (to put it mildly). But the main story is well worth the effort. Most of the very negative comments about the ending refer to the original one. In the meantime, the mangaka made an additional epilogue chapter, which is slightly better.
Read this manga, if you can accept the mentioned issues.

Original one-star comment:
"I dont't know.... I think, it's just annoying. I couldn't bring myself to read past chapter three (or six, depending on how you count them). It was so aggravating to me.
Which is strange, since I liked Yamada-kun and the seven witches from the same author. Perhaps I will give it another try some day."

So, I get that everyone's upset over the ending, but I was just wondering if chapters 208-210 worked for anyone? It was completely blank for me..
