This was an insane trip I found myself frustrated at every single characters except for Ai. i love that man to bits fr, the character I found myself frustrated with he most is yu. aka the literal virgin fucking Mary, he literally would not stop I get that's he's a good guy 'n all but allat for a guy you just met? Jeez now you've got me frustrated. There's nothing I hate more than characters with a hero complex, it's not cute..not cute at all..but maybe that's just me! I don't know he feels a little too soft 'n emotional for me, I don't like it...He's just..too squishy..I'm not. The biggest fan of makoto either, the guy's a total loser. I know he is how he is because of his living situation, and I knew form the start the only reason he was fucking Betty is because he resembles his mother and shit but can't I find him a little pathetic? A little loser-ish? He's a terribly sad child who didn't get the love he wanted, deserved when he was younger but he's super pathetic in my eyes. I have no opinion on Betty, I respect the guy honestly. He did what he had to do to live and I'm not one to judge. All in all this was a very nice read I loved it 10/10 all kinds of fucked up in the head but the plot and it's nuances were pretty easy to follow and uncover haha didn't have to commit any mental gymnastics to get to where I am today which a total plus lol I was looking for a light story to read anyway, it's as short as a oneshot lol I find myself wishing for a little more extra chapters but that's just wishful thinking in my part.
(Reread) Oh gorgeous oh gorgeous….they don’t make yaoi like this no more…yeah who am i to judge what’s realistic for yakuza standards but the amount of twists in this story reels in the cruel and brutal nature of the yakuza that you usually don’t see in other works where they turn out to be more light hearted. Also the incest is too fucking good so yummy I ate the mutual codependency up like it was my last meal. Wish we could’ve seen Ai rail Makoto but that’s just me
genuinely what the FUCK is this......i did not expect this to end with incest bruh :| the second couple's dynamic was so weird. it didn't seem like the attraction was there it was gone and coming back idk. also the plot is so fucking complicated like gun to my head i cannot tell you what the fuck was going on at any point of the story i'm fucking stupid but way too many characters and plot points. this was disgusting tho they are related but uhhh despite that i guess the story was executed well somewhat. would not EVER reread this tho sorry akabeko you wild for this. freud hollering in his grave rn for sure
