Wtf so confusing

I wish it was longer and showed more of them in a romantic relationship, but it was a solidly interesting read.

I read the whole thing so I wanna claim as red, but I don't really understand exactly what is happening. I think the main character is slightly in love with his brother and his friend is helping him out in living life normally. Black and white. No rating because I have no idea what's it about

I was a bit confused by the story. Many things are not clearly explained.
For example what’s up with the relationship between the protagonist and his mother? Why isn’t the protagonist employed at all. We saw him going to school just fine in the extras. And of course the scene were ML brings home a woman. I personally don’t think he actually slept with her because of his unclear way of answering during MCs emotional outburst later on. He didn’t really give me the impression of ever wanting to end his relationship with MC so having an affair wouldn’t be beneficial. Plus he was expecting Mc to be home for dinner, so I think he brought her home intending to make MC become aware of the importance of their relationship and for that he wouldn’t have to actually bed her. However she stayed with him the entire night which alludes to them having slept with each other. Very confusing and the story doesn’t give us an answer…
I also find the combination of the MC and ML characters not very fitting. ML comes across as pretty obsessiv in one particular scene and I find it hard to believe that he would have the patience to love the mentally unstable MC who has a crush on another person for 13 years unrequiredly.
However the character setting of MC was very unique and was actually what kept this story going for me.
