The art is beautiful! However I felt this is more like a friendship rather than everyone saying it’s a romance. There was no romance involved. And it felt like the blonde haired girl wanted to be left alone the whole time so idk it felt like a very forced friendship :(
Tsukiko Yano is a transfer student at a high school where she doesn't find anyone or anything interesting. That is, until one evening when she sees her classmate Aya Utsumi swimming in the school swimming pool. After that, she can't help but see fish swimming all around her.
tedious, but I'm guessing it's probably because I expected a generic love story (like bloom into you), which made me felt quite forced to read through this just to realize it's nothing like it, like, there's no romance at all. nonetheless, I really liked how they portrayed their platonic relationship, also liked the ambience of the story as well, which gives off that pleasant slice of life vibe.
Maybe its not really focused on romance thats why we never saw them as a couple. Not the usual high school romance. They showed struggles like struggling to find what you're passionate about and more. The art is very beautiful too.
