another work more about teenage friendship rather than romance, this falls through by not showing us how their relationship impacts each other enough. i like seeing the portrayal of how you reject peoples affection when you have low self esteem, but the source of that affection is so shallow, and the themes about an idol trying to live up to the ideal of her show no struggle, only reifying that idols are perfect after all. its all such a fantasy, and not even a very exciting one.

great manga; only hope they dont end up having sumika play dress up with ito like shes some puppy to make her look "cute"; you dont have to wear overly feminine clothes to be cute im so tired of this pointless plotline in every yuri manga
