scanned through 3.5 but it's ALL HEAVY DIALOGUE AND EXPOSITION....

I don't know if it's that generic or if I reale read the novel in the past...
The art is good and the translation too. But I can't... I hate how the chapters are sliced in half and the pacing bothers me. I feel it's kinda repetitive, like 2 3 people repeating the same phrases to show their reaction in a conversation? And... girls... girls who technically are stronger than him needing his protection... I get is bread and butter for this genre but it kinda bothers me that the mc's hardly get companions to fight with but get full of burdens he must protect...
I just got tired of it...

Ch 9 main was able to get help to reopen the 8 principle points he lost with his dragon. Thanks to a distant Zhao ancestor in the family vault alter that takes the worthy Zhao blooded individual into the other dimension. Idk what dimension it is or just a teleporter, but the old main could tell what was wrong with main, tested his willingness to go thru hardship and deemed him worthy to teach and main is willing to learn how to reinforce his 8 principles we just got back. Even tho they are reopened, they are weak and still partially sealed so main has to work harder than others and his determination will show in his outcome
Ch 2 so overall topic is that the Zhao family was blessed with dragon guardian blessing but due to some fortune telling, if a baby was born at the same yr, day, month, such as the Wu family's son, then the dragon blessing would be taken away by the Wu bc their animal blessing is the python and the prophecy is that a python would consume the dragon and take away its blessing. So main as the son can't cultivate the dragon bc of the Wu family. Dad the king tried fighting but was unsuccessful. The mom the queen has to sacrifice her longevity to her son so he can live 3 more yrs every 3 yrs. Main at 13 is enraged now he knows their circumstances and doesn't like how his parents r suffering and asks if there is a way for him to cultivate or get back the dragons blessing
