bro this is such a story.. i don't understand all the politics and stuff about the edo period but it was still really interesting! their relationship kind of had me suffering but it was worth it for the moments when they were just being lovely and sweet with each other ㅠㅠ
i was kinda scared that tomoyuki was akihito's uncle tbh that would've been a bit strange lol
ALSOO i was so happy when soichiro's marriage was going to be with kofusa omg they are so cute

I need this series right now! This was so good i loved the pacing it had and i very much enjoyed reading this until the very end

favorite among favorites – the historical setting, slowburn and overall atmosphere make it one of the best mangas i have read overall; another bonus it of course being written by hidaka shoko in her lovely style
