An okay story, but the character of the ML: stubborn as a mule, ignorant, absolutely certain that he knows best, pushy as hell, wannabe authoritarian, is the kind of thing that would make any sane person go postal. People like him could be used as a poster boy for Comintern showing why capitalism should be abolished.

Its not that it was a bad story, in fact quite the opposite, which is why it ends up leaving a bad taste in my mouth because it is so much more effective in promoting the unrealistic expectations that are the staple of so many Harlequin novels.
