seemed interesting at first but then got kind of laid back and chill which is fine but the ending ruined that vibe… what do u mean the hybrids r sentient and r just trying to escape their ruined home albeit violently bc they were betrayed and turned into slaves in the past….?????
sending them back when there was no real hope was extremely disappointing and felt like such a loss-loss situation so for the everything to work out miraculously afterwards felt very forced and lazy; obviously happy kiyan and neaharti were able to survive happily together and for the rest of the hybrids to also live but that’s a freeing miracle and it feels dirty
the whole fake harkan arc was so random and just an intro to elante but whatever ig it ended up helping rakshan and elrose together and they’re sweet
liked how the town grew but overall super flimsy storytelling and probs wouldn’t read again

I would give this a 3.8. Good story. I just wish the ending was a little better. It was bittersweet, because of kiyan. I just wish everyone go reunited
