I enjoyed it a lot. Soongap and Bongchun are lovely, and their relationship is extremely cute. They deserve each other, and I’m glad that they’re living happily by the sea like they wanted. An issue I had was the incest-rape storyline. Pilgyeon is disgusting. Every time he appeared he would try and do something to Soongap and tried to rape another man similar to him because he was so obsessed. That didn’t need to be apart of the storyline. It was a bad choice, it was a bit of an uncomfortable read. I appreciate the fact Bongchun was accepting of the fact that Soongap was sensitive about Mojil, and they decided to visit his grave. Bongchun was a good person, even if he did things that weren’t extremely moral. This is a good story, it just has some parts which seem as if the author had a fetish for assault.

Ive read this manwha in 2025 for the first time, that was the first time i ever enjoyed something so much. Bongchons bride was a beautifully written manwha, dare i say one of the best BL. I loved the characters i loved reading soongaps story, i loved how some parts made me feel uncomfortable happy and sad. I wished we got a nanhee and mokwon side story, it would be great as a historical GL Manwha! But in all seriousness I absolutely loved this manwha that i read it multiple times, i wish i could reset my mind and reread it again on a fresh memory of this.
