In all honesty I would have liked it to be a little longer. However, the manhwa is definitely much better than the movie, and Idk why the rating here is as low as 8.8. I’ll admit, she did handle that one situation with the kid who died pretty poorly, but that’s what happens irl. You can’t predict the future. You choose to be a bystander. That’s the result. I kind of wish we did get to see the student figure out MC was his friend’s daughter. Idk if it was implied and I missed it, but I guess not knowing leaves a nice bitter sweetness. Who knows, maybe he would have found out after she became an official teacher there, but that’s what open endings are for. It’s up for interpretation. I also would have liked to see what became of Sugang after juvie or how he was coping and growing during, but ig it’s up for interpretation as well. There are some parts where MC could have done more, some parts where I feel it should have been longer or taken up more episodes, but this was overall a pretty solid read. If you don’t like open endings, don’t read it. If you like a bit of bitter-sweetness and interpreting the ending, go ahead. Personally, I really liked it.
