I was expecting smth darker, since the original life was super toxic and depressing. But the plot itself is interesting. Uke was originally an artist and after suffering from seme and losing his sanity, he started drawing things, wishing for a different reality where they only remained as friends. Then after seme and uke die, seme is isekaid into that universe, while uke has no memories of the past. In this drawing universe, seme can never confess his feelings since this universe is how the uke wished for it, to remain friends and be happy. So the universe will stop it from happening and life continues for 7 years, all according to the multiple drawings.
Theeen from the 2nd universe (from the drawing), uke and seme get isekaid into the original universe, but the timeline is different. So seme now has been in 3 universes, while this is the uke's 2nd one. He thought this new universe was from a novel.

Read this all in one go while at work lols, 1st ch in and im already hooked hence why i got to finish it within a day haha. Love the concept! Very interesting to the alpha being regressed (?) and the bottom thinking they were in a novel. The smex was okay, but the story was enjoyable

In a nutshell the story is about the ML trying his absolute hardest to be obsessive, possessive, controlling, toxic, basically all the traits of a black flag combated with the MC who is just absolutely refusing to let that happen by never letting the ML know his next move and it’s absolutely hilarious. You still get the thrill of a dark romance, but the actual romance is very lighthearted and sweet it’s basically if a psychological thriller was an unserious comedy
