The art is pretty good, and the story follows the Egyptian gods, which is cool if you’re interested in historical legend. However, the plot is pretty difficult to follow because it is tightly related to Greek mythology and there’s a lot of scenes that are in third person where were really just looking at small figurines telling the story – it’s not extremely immersive. I can see why some people like this but I don’t think it’s for me.

The whole story is demented and not salvageable. No amount of powerful storytelling could justify why Seth deserves to be raped multiple times by characters who initially appeared to have genuinely good hearts but are psychotic as fuck (im looking at you, osiris and horus). The story was refreshing, but only up to the point where no one seems to have any redeeming quality at all. It’s unbearable to read a story feasting on chatacters’ miseries without any real relief or redemption. What a waste of good art and good premise.
