People who read False Memories (Lee Gpiee)

Read this about a year or two ago so forgive my foggy memory but I did not like this story. For starters, its never clear why the MC wants to be friends with the ML. He treated him horribly and we never really had a reveal as to what spurs the MC on in the moment when he lies and says that they were friends. What does he get out of this? It's not as simple as getting a friend because he knows that this won't last forever, plus it means that the MC has to keep adding to the lie and skirting around others. It just doesn't seem worth it when he could be putting this energy into others, making friends who actually want to be in his life. As for the big reveal where he finds out it was all a lie and says some harsh things, I really didn't care. I remember just thinking that these were simply the consequences of his actions. But then we get the following few chapters where he's forgiven. There are absolutely no consequences for the lie that's been building up the entire conflict of the story. So what was the point? Sure the ML was a jerk and a bully but why doesn't he get to be angry that someone took advantage of him when he was vulnerable? Why does he just forgive him right away? I don't think the main character deserved forgiveness, and certainly not to walk out of this situation with a boyfriend. Whatever man. 3/10 wouldn't recommend but the art was pretty.

Not a bad story! The brother and the purple haired friend both pissed me off, especially purple guy because he was fucking everything up every step of the way. Hawoon and Wan were very cute together, I liked that Wan realized that his brother was the reason why he was acting like a bad person and grew on his own. And while it was wrong for Wan to be keeping secrets about who Hawoon was before his memory loss, I'd say he's justified since Hawoon kept coming back to him and Wan was just trying to help as best as he could. Definitely would read again!
