I love how they dig in deeper into Izumi's past and trauma and show that sendo loving him as he is despite having his past and characteristics cause by that trauma is such a grounded move. It is true that you can't change a person and if you truly love him you're won't be there just because they're trying to change for the better but you'll also be there when they're may not able to, I like how Izumi's aniki point that out. Izumi's trauma is already embedded to him and his unhealthy competitiveness is something that won't change and it's important that sendo is there to help Izumi's when it drives him to corner one day. And Sendo shows exactly that, he showing to Izumi that despite all that past trauma andbunhealthy characteristics, he—is still him—a person he love deeply and accept. And I think that's what Izumi's need, a person who would love him despite his shortcomings because no matter how many times he may trips Sendo will be there to help him get back up again. I think that's the point if this manga and I really like it
