People who read Fire Punch

The concept was good, but I feel like fujimoto didn’t properly execute it right. It just had way too many random moments, the huge amount of times skips, and the ending basically showing us that it ends with incest. Agni is a very pitiful character to me, his entire life was never about himself, was never his life to live it as he owned. Due to how the world was, at its frozen peak, and the increasingly bizarre nature of what humans became, just like anyone else, Agni wasn’t able to grow up appropriately. Being starved, having a blessing, used as a tool, and his entire life washed down for the sole purpose of being ‘fuel’. After being used as fuel, of course his sister died, that was basically the entire plot. Him never being able to let go of his sister, being driven by revenge and hatred for Doma, of course his pain counted apart of that aswell, but to me it seemed like that didn’t matter to him as much as Luna getting killed. Anyways, togata is my favorite character from this manga. I love how simple her mind is, only thing making her happy is movies, going as far as to make her own. I love that for her, but reading more into the story, and just like anyone else she has her own complexes. I believe she was more well written than anyone else, feeling trapped within a body she never wanted, feeling restricted just living in her own skin. She wanted to use Agni of course, and I think she just never understood the simplify of him, but she obviously did feel for him in some way. Going as far as sacrificing herself for him, and her last words being “Live” just like everyone else. Togata i lov u you carried Fire punch ;-;

i decided to stop reading until i could get volume 8 and finish it in physical form( which ive never done) and the first purchase there were multiple misprints so i had to rebuy it. i finished it and i understand why people didnt like the ending. i started fire punch because csm ended and i needed a new series to read + i wanted to see if i could understand csms ending more…. i understand fujimotos writing more now. he has a pattern of making the story near the ending confusing, but ill watch a video analysis on this. i love how he always has movie theaters in his works… i gasped when agni was in that theater. togata we miss u come back
