It's hard to review so long after it's been published because so much of my opinion of this series is reliant on the knowledge of when it was published. If you're just going off of what the series presents, you might not think much of it. But at the time of publishing, this series brought soooo much to the table. Even if you discard all of that, you're still left with a mostly engrossing story with beautiful art and a unique form of story-telling.
