I found myself caring more about the abusive, incestuous second couple than the main one and that's unfortunate.

It starts as a horror that's out of control and it goes in a rather unnecessary direction, imo. I feel like the main timeline, the Joseon one, should've been where the story ended. At first I was excited about the timeskip and the "next life" romance, but it quickly ruined the tragedy of this story. Because EVERYONE got a second chance and it made all the pain and suffering and horror of the first part feel kinda pointless. I mean, if you like happy endings even if it makes no sense to have one, it's a good read. But I think some plot points should've stayed tragic.
