Like, yeah there could be a diplomatic mess if the country admits to lying to everyone, but it was a stupid lie to begin with. Royals and nobles going to others countries to 'see the sights' have been a thing in forever and she could've bagged the emperor then (she kept saying stuff about how she gotta make the emperor see her so war ends so why not get it over with??)

It felt dumb how shook she was seeing that assassins get killed bc its like he was defending himself (though lord knows why some guards weren't handling it). Ppl have been executed for trying to commit treason for ages - don't get shocked at it when in a European Georgian-esque era with some inspiration drawn from the mediaevals.

It's good and all but the ml it to obsessed with her if a man hugs her he's angry I mean every person would be angry when someone hugs the person they like but this is a different level of jealously. The mc might not see this as obsession in a way and likes him because he's handsome but your basically putting yourself in a trap the second time
