I honestly don’t get the hate for the Mc yah he did said a transgender slur I more think that’s a reflection of the social environment he grew up in. Yah it’s wrong but I think it’s more a deflection rather than actually disliking trans people. It’s his just self hatred surfacing due to his likes leaning into femininity which men are taught to reject. Plus if they do embrace it their sexuality and gender are placed under question. So yah I would be a pissy bastard if a guy had the potential to ruin my social image. Plus the Ml doesn’t do much to gain trust for the Mc, as he mocks him and even “exposes” the Mcs identity when he brings that girl over to help with his makeup. Yah she already knew but how was the Mc supposed to know that, so of course he gets pissed and lashes out at the Ml at yet another threat of being exposed. The ml is the only one we should really be heavily criticizing cause he straight up SAd the Mc.
