Hooooooly shit. That was a ride. I understand to some degree about using books and characters to run from reality, I myself and someone with escapism tendencies (although I dont BECOME the character, I more so can 'live' in the fictional world for a while), but good lord seeing the constant manipulation and maneuvering and psychological breakdowns had me spiraling. By the last few chapters, I was contemplating which 'one' was on the screen, and trying to recognize when they switched. This was suuuuuch a good read

Kudos to the author, this made me feel different of emotions and everything on the ending had made sense.. It made me curious coming from Release Your Persona, but I saw comments thatno matter how beautifully made and the story was relayed really well, they wouldn’t read this again. This is really good but also wickedly heavy. I don’t think I will get over this soon… The hand signal left me in awe, I will keep that in mind! Anyway, I need to read fluff and diabetes…

I started reading this for the codependency and ended up having my jaw drop so many times throughout the whole experience until the very end. I hoped that the MC would at least have a happy ending, but deep down I knew this was something that would make a person's mental stability beyond repair.

The whole cast is so well-written.. they're so fleshed out and complex, and a hundred percent mentally ill. Whole cast is fucking mentally ill. I love how these main characters felt so human and flawed and twisted, the author did so well in representing the damage that psychological trauma does to a person.

Moreover, the art did so well in setting the tone for the story????3(??? Every noticeable detail and changes is so intentional. And the panel formatting is so so good. The dialogue is HAUNTINGGGG.

This ending was so well thought out and comes to full circle. I love how this story tackled unhealthy relationships and bonds, especially when you start being so dependent on the other person when it comes to placing worth over your own identity.

MANNNN 10/10 THIS WAS SO AMAZINGLY DAUNTING AND DOOMED...

Uke is a manga artist, seme is a sculptor, so both are artists.
Seme is deranged and mentally unwell, dude is obsessed with playing a "role". Uke writes a comic on messed up romance and seme takes on the role of the lead who brainwashes the other lead. he's the lead. So he obsessed over the author as if he is the other lead and also as the author.
Seme is scary as he is a sculptor with a hammer, so a constant weapon. He also used that hammer to break uke's leg. He hates it when uke tries to reveal his true identity, mf is unstable.
But the uke also has lacked love his entire life and gets sucked into this roleplay and starts losing it. The seme tries to commit double suicide, and thats when uke snaps out of it a bit and attack him with the hammer. I'm unsure if seme died or not, but uke left, but is still unstable and keeps imagining him

I have no words but this was great story and truly truly fucked up. I love how fucked up the Ml is along with how he views the world. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character on such a deep level that I do with the Mc. That desperation for someone to love and cherish you will drive you crazy. Side note I feel really bad for the 2nd ML cause he very much drew the short end of the stick. This story kinda left me empty cause it was definitely a mind fuck and I love it but I’m never reading this again.
