Load of bullshits. Along all the story there's only bad experiences for them and you just end up the story out of anything. At least, you should've put an integral episode where you show how they been really going after Jeakynug's pursuing him to the station. But nothing!
In this story, I've more seen bad memories that goods and I'm not talking yet to the sides. Because a good work doesn't need sides to be completed.

Tbh it was just meh for me. Not that bad so still 2 stars but its just so.... Generic. It reminded me of those run-of-the-mill straight kdramas where everything is overcome with the power of love. Everyone was anticipating how jjk will be redeemed after his shithole attitude but his backstory was just whatever, didn't get me to like this guy at all or want for them to end up together. Also, at some point it felt like kim dan was just stupid and deluding himself that there was ever anything pleasant between them. It kinda felt like from one point it just suddenly turned towards a good ending. Like idk, there is some character development and stuff but for me it felt kinda forced and awkward, and maybe because of that I cringed on so many parts because to me it felt like what those parts were trying to sooo emotionally express never existed in the story so the emotionality was just made up on the spot to push the story forward. Basically, it was an ok story and very much like your average straight kdrama but it was very lackluster and I wouldn't even read it again. I had to force myself to finish this just to be caught up with the story so I'd be able to knowingly enjoy the memes later. Well, all I can say is: read this if you like extremely cliche stories without too much depth.

I'd tag this as horror but I don't wanna startle new readers. This shit is just not worth it if you value nicely written pieces with soft encounters, characters being emotionally strong and empowered, character development lore and other deep stuff. The start is not romantic, and neither is their confession imo. It's not well written, it's badly developed and also Joo Jaekyung is so damn traumatized and toxic that Dan should've left him like.. 80 chapters ago? He needed money, and that was an excuse for him to be treated like garbage by Joo for more than half of the story, to only then Joo realize that as he's so damn agressive and intolerant, Dan could be the only one that could ever love him for who he is. I blame the author for this, the smut is forced, the characters are generic, Jaekyung is the devil and Dan is so nice that it feels fake. His only visible flaws are not standing up for himself and being full of ingenuity.

Not gonna lie, I admit somewhat close to BJ ALEX but there has more depth in the character development on Jaekyungs side whereas he yearned for him throughout. There were signs of it early stage. I know not everyone will agree to what i am saying here but nonetheless. I saw how each side characters helped with the growth of dan and jaekyung, where they could always go back to their roots, self control, understanding, and most of all i saw how each characters deals with grief and hardships in their lives. They have different lives but i love that they had the commitment to do better. Not just jaekyung but dan as well. He learned to let go of his grandmother as he loved her so dearly. Im glad that throughout he doesn’t have to be alone and that he found his worth despite the disrespect . As for jaekyung, hardship does come every so often but im glad to see that he comes to his senses about circumstances in his life. I love it, i really loved the story and even the visuals, it is so beautiful as it conveys emotions of the characters that it communicates it thoughtfully.
Overall love it!
