ML is a half-blood vampire living a normal life, working in a company where the ceo (love interest) is interested in him. while sleep deprived in the office, he sent a message to the ceo saying that he was going to get a sex partner, the ceo takes advantage of this and coherences the ML to date him (otherwise he would lose his job). very cute
—> i thought it was going to be kinda goofy and silly, but eventually takes itself too seriously and i didn’t like that
—> the boss has a bit of a power trip in the beginning, what do you mean date me or lose your job?

Not the traditional vampire story. MC can’t drink blood and needs “life energy” to survive until dun dun dun it doesn’t work anymore. Who could’ve guessed. Pretty funny, starts off as boss (love interest) and employee (MC). Art style gets better as you progress I promise!

I DONT REMEMBER WHAT THIS IS ABOUT But I remember vampire and bad anatomy but I think its fine (?) It's bearable atleast
He called him father hehe
I will tell the truth I only read this for the second cpl and Idk what happen with the main cpl since I skipped everything that's not the sec cpl. I know I'm guilty that's why I'm confessing
Complete
Not a fan of non con, also kinda quick w the romance but still good i love the ml
Maybe more? So cute but ended so fast
Look, I'm just saying, if you're going to write a Vampire BL . . . Don't try and be subversive. I don't care, just don't. Stick to tradition and give the people what they want—eroticism in the form of biting & blood-sucking. Don't do what this story did and create a Vampire that can't drink blood . . . Like fucking duh. You just removed eighty percent of the appeal of Vampires. And it's especially frustrating because when our Vampire, Doyun, is again able to drink blood, we only get two scenes in which he does and in one of those scenes it happens off-screen. I've never seen a story fail before it even started. I'm bitter idgaf
When it comes to the story, I don't really know what to say, because it wasn't bad . . . But I wouldn't really consider it good. I didn't like it. I finished the story feeling pretty underwhelmed as there were a few plotpoints that either weren't resolved, or were resolved in a way that seemed to undermine the importance that was built throughout the story. There are two main examples I can think of:
In this story, Doyun is a crossblood. He is born from a cross-species relationship between a human and a vampire, so he is only seen as half. In his childhood, he was able to drink blood, but something changed during his late childhood or early teen years when suddenly he couldn't stomach it. Instead to survive, he had to live off of the essence he gets from people during sex. And then during the story, his body then goes through further change and he finds himself unable to absorb and essence . . . And the thing is that he's the only crossblood who goes through any change, period. Every other half-vampire is able to drink blood. It's very explicitly said. Yet Doyun's uniqueness isn't really focused on or explained much, which I found incredibly odd since they do directly say he's the only one who is the way he is. It's singled out. What should be a pretty big plot point quite genuinely just doesn't go anywhere, it's never addressed beyond the initial conversation it's brought up.
The second issue I have is with what could be considered this story's villain and the complete non-character it ends up being. When Doyun slowly starts to die due to the fact that he can't feed off of essence anymore, his father-figure tries to get the blood of the oldest living vampire, Nox, as drinking that can transform a half-vampire into a pureblooded one. Except Nox doesn't plan on giving his blood away, and instead strings along Jooyoung—the aforementioned father-figure—to force him into becoming the next Nox himself. It turns out "Nox" is more of a title than an actual person. Nox also has unique abilities, such as shapeshifting . . . So because of that, we never actually see what he truly looks like. The first time we see him he's taken the form of Jooyoung, and the second time we see him he's taken the form of a doctor side character . . . The second time is also the last time we see him, as once Jooyoung inherented the title of "Nox," the original Nox just throws himself off the building. He commits suicide. Just fucking dies. And it's like . . . OK . . . Is that it? It's such an underwhelming conclusion to an arc that was otherwise pretty good.
As for the characters, I liked them enough. Gangwoo took a little bit of warming up to me, as this story at the start is very lighthearted and comedic in tone—which didn't work for me. So for a while there he was more annoying than he was endearing. But once he finds out Doyun is a vampire, I believe there is a shift there. He's a very intense character, he's quite a jealous man, someone quick to jump to conclusions and rash in his actions . . . But I didn't hate it. Usually I hate those characteristics but for some reason it just worked with him.
Doyun I also really liked. Like, a lot. He's very meek and timid which I always love, and I really liked how at the beginning of the story it's really reflected in how he's drawn—he looks like a character that's quiet and nervous. He has these kind of pretty, dark droopy eyes with heavy dark circles that made him look uniquely cute. The art style change over the course of the story really fucked him over too because every character got a huge glowup while he just transformed into some generic BL twink. He looked thirty turning thirteen. A travesty. I also really liked how drinking blood made him a total nympho. It was hot idc the author was so close to striking gold there. The contrast between his usual quiet self and the debauched version of him when he's intoxicated from blood was really nice and I think more vampire stories should take from that!
The side stories fucking sucked though and finishing with those definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Most of it was just fantasy scenes, and I never like those. They are the definition of page filler. It was nice I guess to see the beginning of Gangwoo's feelings for Doyun develop, but we definitely didn't need ten chapters dedicated to it. Honestly, the side chapters should have been for Jooyoung & Jaegeon. They have a lot of untapped potential and I finished the story wanting more from them.
the art is good at the end plot seems fine but i don’t like yaois xx
oh and ofc he looks like a middle schooler yeah right
